Stumbled and paced roughly approaching the 200m after contacting the sulky wheel of SHEZABETTORGIRL when both runners shifted ground. After viewing replays Stewards could not apportion blame to either horse or Driver and took the matter no further other than to note the circumstances.

Stewards questioned Miss Harrison (assisted by J Dunn) regarding the manner in which she drove in the run home when not shifting wider to obtain clear running when the opportunity existed inside the final 200m. After considering her explanation, Stewards issued a charge under Rule 868(2) alleging that she failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible finishing place with the hearing being adjourned sine die.

DAWN TO DARK - broke racing into the first bend when to the outside of ZARLINI checking trailing runners losing ground. Stewards questioned drivers B Hope (ZARLINI) and S Ottley (DAWN TO DARK) regarding this incident where it was established that both runners had shifted ground simultaneously and jostled for a short distance in an attempt to obtain a position in the running line behind HUGO. After viewing the replays and considering both drivers explanation, Stewards were satisfied no one horse or driver was at fault and accordingly took the matter no further. Raced wide with cover from the 1000m.
